With no advocate willing to defend Ajmal Qasab, a Delhi-based lawyer on Wednesday offered to appear for the lone captured terrorist involved in the Mumbai terror attacks. The lawyer said that he wanted to take up the legal battle on behalf of Qasab as his trial would get vitiated without a counsel and could lead to his acquittal on this ground in higher courts.
